BIOGRAPHY

COSIMO FERRI ART

Cosimo FERRI was born on June 25, 1976, in Taranto. Despite studies far removed from his artistic tastes, he cultivated his passion for comics as a self-taught artist. In 1995, he took his first comics course in Pisa. In 2000, he participated in his first competition, "Salento fumetto", where he won 1st prize. In 2002, he achieved third place in the national competition for young authors at the "Rassegna del fumetto e del fantastico" in Prato. He has created various covers and stories published by Eura Editoriale and several stories for Jonathan Steele, Edizioni Star Comics.

In 2011, he joined the team of authors at Tabou Editions with his five-volume series, Mara.

In 2016, he created the short story La foto, published by Original Watts, and in 2017 a spy story, Bee Spy, also for Original Watts.

In May 2018, he published the first volume of his new historical series Achille, by Graph Zeppelin and Tabou Editions.

Also in May 2018, his first exhibition of original artwork was held at the Galerie 9eme Art in Paris.

Following the conclusion of the Achille series, the first volume of the new series Ulysse was published in 2022, ending with the release of the third volume.

In 2024, he illustrated “A propos d'Anna”, an introspective story written by Ben Prieur and published by Les Sculpteurs des Bulles."
